KBNF Mission Trip – Sierra Leone (post 7)
The Head Sister of the Operating Rooms had just returned from a year’s training at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. She was determined to raise the cleanliness of Connaught Hospital to newer heights and the staff was observed scrubbing furiously throughout the entire OR and recovery area. They had finished restoring their main operating room and retained a viewing area above the OR for students to observe. This was well received and many were pleased with the results of the work.
