AGM – Much to Report

We held our Annual General Meeting on April 25th. I am happy to say that I have much to report over the next couple of weeks to our blog readers. Please come back often for news, inspiration and updates.

Inspiration

The saying “In the spirit of the project” revisits my mind often, when considering our Korle-Bu Neuroscience Foundation (KBNF) and international family. We are so very blessed to be rich in a genuine, quality, servant heart membership.  Many in life have good intentions, even great intentions; however, not many take action and fewer see it through to completion regardless of the cost.

Vision, mission, passion . . . these are concepts that we often speak of. We have these in abundance. We really, really care.  As Brenda MacLeod, (Founder, Board of Director) resolutely states, “we’re not going anywhere. We’re here to stay!” And with this servant’s heart, these concepts are contributing to the building of a legacy of excellence in health care for Ghana and West Africa. Rev. Danny Moe, KBF Vice-President, has taught us this past year at our Academy workshops that we are dream chasers and dream carriers. A dream chaser pursues a dream while a dream carrier is carrying a God given dream. We believe that KBNF is fulfilling God’s plan and purpose in His evolving world. To stay focused recognizing that regardless of the challenges this is not our vision and mission but God’s, is critical. We are honoured to be given an opportunity to carry that dream.
